How Much Does an Energy Audit Cost?
The Canada Greener Homes Program, as well as many other incentive programs, require both a pre-retrofit evaluation & a post-retrofit evaluation.
The cost of any evaluation is paid for upfront by the homeowner. Certain incentive programs, such as the Canada Greener Homes Grant program, offer rebates to help offset evaluation costs.
1. Initial Pre-retrofit Evaluation

- $595.00 plus tax for most homes in Winnipeg. For all other centers please submit a request at no obligation to book, or call and inquire.
- Rush & “last minute” appointments are available at an additional $100, plus any applicable travel to and from the home.
- Hint: Book early to avoid additional charges!
2. Second Post-retrofit Evaluation
- $425.00 plus tax for most homes in Winnipeg. For all other centers please submit a request at no obligation to book, or call and inquire.
Additional Charges
- Please note that there is a mileage fee to service outside of Winnipeg. A deposit will be required for remote locations.
- An additional square footage fee is charged for homes larger than 2,000 square feet.
- An additional fee is charged for homes with walkout basements.
- Appointments cancelled within 48 hours or less before the evaluation will be subject to a $75 rescheduling fee.
